The "view of the lake" was more like the parking lot view with the lake on the side. There weren't even windows overlooking the lake side. The pool was in bad shape of a cleaning, otherwise, it was nice. BUT, there were many Katrina evacuees and the pets could have been an exception. It is so close to the shore of Lake Hamilton it has a boat ramp in the parking lot. A real plus for boaters.
