The keyboard will work from about 15 - 20 ft away and the mouse will work from about 11 ft away(maybe more but I've never taken it further). This thing is awesome. The scroll wheel helps when you have a lot of tracks on one CD. I use this card to play Need For Speed Underground 2. The graphics are amazing. It runs flawlessly. The sub woofer shakes the floor of my room. With the added on/off switch for just the sub woofer you can have a lot of bass when you want it and no bass when you don't want it.
