It plugs in a sets up simply and the interface is far easier to use than other Freeview boxes I've used. It so simple 8 screws and the drive is in the plastic case. Admittedly this is my first digital camera so I don't have much in the way of reference except seeing friends devices however this camera pleases in every way.
